The class completes a time line of the school day. They discuss the best time to control anger Is before saying anything or taking any action.
Self Talk When I am Angry Activity Session
- The class discusses what self talk is and list examples of the self talk that students use.
- Students select self talk good for them to use for anger control.
Handling What I Regret Activity Session
The class name situations when persons are offended by anger. They write imaginary notes of apology to persons they offended. In turn, they write reply notes from the ofended persons. Using the “empty chair” technique. One student uses two chairs. He reads the note of apology, switches chairs, and reads the reply.
Solving Anger Problems Activity Session
The class lists probems that students solve.
